Well it' is happening again.

HGC has bowed to the pressure and is hosting another Parents Night. The first evening of the year when old(er) joints get a dusting off and youth is relived and then regretted..

Friday the 24th June will be fun... the few days that follow .. well who can say!

What a weekend the highs and lows of competing. were evident for all to see. The newest HgGC competitors tried hard, overcame their nerves and performed admirably. This will set them on their way for bigger and better things to come. Well done.

Well here we go again.. Several girls are now training hard to compete in the upcoming Yorkshire  Level 7 & 6 comp. Let's hope they can replicate their excellent achievements frim Grades

Time for bed said Zebedee; well that's what it feels like now that the mad loonatic grades rush is over. Last week was Grade 14 and 13 and in the words of Bruce Forstythe didn't they do well. But they were showed the way 2 weeks prior by the girls competing in the National grades who demonstrated a poise and elegance that belies their years.

All the girls did exceptionally well exceeding the targets that they had imposed on themselves.

Alice Sykes came second in the conditioning set amidst a tight battle and even with an incident or 2 on beam has qualified to be part of the Yorkshire team competing in Birmingham in April.

So for most it's another year over, but for Alice.... well there are 4 more weeks of grades. It's lonely at the top.....
