Adult GymWatch this space... Due to demand we are hoping to start an adult class on Fridays. The initial period will be run over the summer to guage the level of interest with a more structured class starting in Sept.

Parents NightWell it' is happening again.
HGC has bowed to the pressure and is hosting another Parents Night. The first evening of the year when old(er) joints get a dusting off and youth is relived and then regretted..

Level 7 & 6 resultsWhat a weekend the highs and lows of competing. were evident for all to see. The newest HgGC competitors tried hard, overcame their nerves and performed admirably. This will set them on their way for bigger and better things to come. Well done.

National Grades FinalsAnother exciting time at HGC. 2 girls have been working hard, ready for the National grades finals to be held in Birmingham.Georgia who has just competed, showed a lot of fight and determination and achieved a 4th on vault & Emma who will be competing at he end of April in the very difficult compulsory grades competition.

Time for bed said Zebedee; well that's what it feels like now that the mad loonatic grades rush is over. Last week was Grade 14 and 13 and in the words of Bruce Forstythe didn't they do well. But they were showed the way 2 weeks prior by the girls competing in the National grades who demonstrated a poise and elegance that belies their years.
All the girls did exceptionally well exceeding the targets that they had imposed on themselves.
Alice Sykes came second in the conditioning set amidst a tight battle and even with an incident or 2 on beam has qualified to be part of the Yorkshire team competing in Birmingham in April.
So for most it's another year over, but for Alice.... well there are 4 more weeks of grades. It's lonely at the top.....
