Thursday – 6.00 to 8.30

Elite

This is the highest level of gymnastics in Great Britain.   A relatively few number of British clubs actually have this level of athlete or the coaching and resources to facilitate this. Here at HGC we are proud to have gymnasts who are training in this program and have been developed through our system.

This level requires an intense training regime with a high level of dedication and commitment from the gymnasts and their families. The difficulty is very high at this level which means that only a select few (Top 5% in the country) will have the necessary abilities to participate. Gymnasts at this level must be VERY strong and flexible. Gymnasts will compete at events both regionally and nationally (including the British Championships each Year).

Training Times
Wednesday – 6.00 to 8.30
Thursday – 6.00 to 8.30
Saturday – 10.00 to 3.30
Sunday – 10.00 to 12.30

(Please note Elite Gymnasts may also be invited to attend an additional session on a Friday 6.00 to 8.30)
Yorkshire Squad

HGC has a number of gymnasts in Yorkshire squad.  Gymnasts are selected by the club to attend the Yorkshire Squad Trial based on their strength, flexibility, commitment and     attitude.

Training Times
Sunday – 2.00 to 6.00 on a monthly basis
